7 Years of Gratitude

On July 23, 2022, Bleach: Brave Souls will celebrate its 7th anniversary. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the players who have made this possible. Since the release of the PlayStation®4 version on March 15 of this year, we’ve been lucky enough to have even more players join the world of Brave Souls, and we couldn’t be happier to see the community grow.

To celebrate the 7th anniversary, Tite Kubo himself acted as supervising designer on the Ichigo Kurosaki (7th anniversary version) and Uryu Ishida (7th anniversary version) characters. We’ve then paid special attention to their designs, Special Moves, and animations. Ichigo comes with a new skill, “Shared Complete Status Immunity,” and Uryu with a new feature, the “Gauge Effect.” We think they’re both a ton of fun, and we hope you’ll enjoy giving them a test play.

Our 7th Anniversary campaign has already begun and is being well received. The “7th Anniversary Choose a ★6 Summons” and “7th Anniversary Free Brave Souls Summons” have provided an excellent opportunity for players to get their hands on a ton of new characters. If you haven’t used them yet, don’t forget to try them! The Brave Souls 7th Anniversary Campaign is round 4 of the “7 Years 7 Campaigns” celebration. From round 5 onward there are free Summons in every round! Don’t miss any of the celebrations!

Ease of Play Improvements

We’re dedicated to continuing our efforts to make Bleach: Brave Souls the best experience it can be for our players, and to that end we’ve been listening to the feedback we receive from you, the players.

Improvements Implemented
Based largely on feedback received from players, we’ve made several ease of play improvements and adjustments to streamline the character power-up process.

1) Players are now able to use the Use 5 Soul Tickets feature in Extreme Co-Op and may select how many tickets they wish to use on a single player quest. We received a lot of feedback regarding the use of Soul Tickets and made this adjustment to add convenience to the Brave Souls play experience.

2) Room rules have been added for Co-Op Quests and Epic Raids. By adding room rules and the functionality to forcibly remove players from a room we hope we’ve made Co-Op Quests and Epic Raids easier and more enjoyable to play.

3) To make Accessories easier to acquire, the drop rate of Accessories has been increased and a Free Accessory Machine has been added.

4) The drop rate of Droplets in Droplet Trials and Enriched Droplet Zones has been increased threefold as part of the 7th anniversary celebrations. Use this chance to get your hands on the Droplets required to power-up your characters.

Improvements to Come
Going forward we will continue to make more improvements for ease of play.

1) We intend to make some adjustments to story event rewards. We will be shortening the animations on the rewards screen, as well as sending rewards directly to players’ inventories rather than their Gift Boxes.

2) Items received from Exchanges will also be delivered straight to players’ inventories rather than their Gift Boxes to save on time.

3) We’ll be adding a feature that allows players to recall teams/characters used in previous Co-Op Quests and Epic Raids to help make the preparation for these quests quicker and easier.

4) We’ll be improving item management by adjusting how items are displayed on the Item screen.

5) To make the world of Bleach: Brave Souls all the more welcoming for new and returning players, we’re adding a rewards system for veterans who help others in multiplayer quests such as Co-Op Quests and Epic Raids.

The Future of Brave Souls

The new Bleach anime, BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, will be broadcast from October 2022. To keep excitement high and our players informed, we’ll be sharing BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War news in Brave Souls.

With Bleach: Brave Souls, we aimed to create a game that players can play for a long time to come: the kind of place where Bleach fans can get together and have fun. Whether you are a regular, a veteran, or new to the game, we hope that you have a great time exploring the world of Bleach.

That’s why we consider the voices of our players to be so important. We read the impressions and feedback shared by our players on SNS, as well as more direct inquiries, and will be asking our players for even more direct feedback in a survey during the 7th anniversary celebrations. We aim to continue using feedback to improve the game, and are very grateful that we have players who share their thoughts as well as support us during the development process. Once more, thank you!
